French company Beaba makes a great little appliance called the Beaba Babycook. It's an absolutely adorable machine that's had a huge following in Europe over the last few years, and now it's here! It's meant to make baby food, but it's also a great kitchen multi-use staple: it steams, purees, warms, blends, and defrosts. I puree a lot of vegetables to work into our meals, and this gadget makes things a lot easier. Also, my kitchen is on the small side so its compact size is perfect. Its capacity is approx. 2 1/2 cups and it also comes with a cooking basket and spatula.
