Over the last 18 months, my good friend Erin Thompkins has been on a relentless crusade. She's been searching for the sofa of her dreams - a large, lofty kid-friendly-yet-sophisticated (and affordable) Houndstooth-covered sofa. Her search came to an end (kind of) when she found WS Home's 'Wilshire Sofa' - in Houndstooth. Unfortunately, it's also over $3,600.00 (she's got a 2-year-old to feed). Luckily for her, there's SofaCraft in Orange County. As long as you've got a picture and the dimensions (and your own fabric if you want), they can replicate anything. Their craftsmanship is great, and their prices are even better. She'll be cleaning up grape juice-spills in no time!Monday

I have heard of Sofacraft before...but I thought they had the designs, and you had to choose from thier selection and then customize the fabric and colors....I didn't know you could bring them a picture, and thats all she wrote....I swear I'm becoming dependant on your brian Liza...seems like I need you to complete each thought for me! Thanks for the find...I'm takin my pictures of this houndstooth sofa and settee to the OC!!!!!! This will be perfect! Sleek, stlyish, comfy, and toddler-proof!
