Carmela Ice Cream
I woke up this morning with a serious hankering for caramel ice cream. Not the sticky Haagen Daaz stuff with the swirls, but the real, creamy stuff. Then I remembered Carmela's. They make the best Caramel Fleur-de-Sel ice cream (States-side); I thought the best Caramel ice cream I'd ever had was at Le Grand Colbert in Paris (where else!?) - but Carmela's definitely rivals it. All of their ingredients are natural and are sourced from local vendors (no Yellow No. 5 here!). Among their other ice creams, they also make yummy sorbet (lemon-basil, blueberry-thyme). What's another hour on the elliptical?
