If you're ever in Honolulu, stop by the Hokulani Bake Shop on Waikiki's Restaurant Row. Aside from their yummy cupcakes, husband / wife owners Ana and Tushar make cookies pretty enough to rival Eleni's in NYC (and their prices aren't as outrageous, either!). Everything is made on-site everyday, and their ingredients are local and organic. The red velvet, vanilla and carrot spice cupcakes and the basic cookies are the best. 
Tell them the girl that scarfs down the half-dozen red-velvet cupcakes sent you!
