Sabi Van Hemert is Dutch sculptress whose work I stumbled on while we were in Europe. Her work is bizarre yet intruiging (namely the Baby series - think Fish and Sea-Urchin Baby). I was drawn to the fuzzy Dr. Seuss-like figures; they're unexpected & I thought they'd be cute in a little kid's room.
Wacky, but I think her work is worth checking out.
